The Masters Tournament kicks off the four Majors in golf and is considered by many to be the most important and prestigious golf tournament in the world. Golf's elite players meet in April at the Augusta National Golf Club in the US state of Georgia to play the first of the four Majors on one of the most challenging par 72 courses on the US PGA Tour.

The winner receives the coveted "green jacket" and the right to play in every subsequent tournament, as well as membership of one of the world's most renowned golf clubs.
